Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Where do we park and enter?
    We have parking on Topf Road reserved for guests as well as parking reserved for guests in the Parking Lot shared with Lakewood Elementary. If you park on Topf, you will enter the doors to the Sanctuary for Classic & Modern worship and the doors straight ahead as the sanctuary is on your right into the Discipleship Building for Contemporary worship.
  2. Is there an Entrance to accommodate those with mobility issues?
    There is a ramp up to the sanctuary entrance off Topf Road, and the Discipleship entrance is also flat.
  3. What about kids?
    Childcare is available from 8:45AM-12:00PM inside the doors of the Discipleship building off of Topf Road. There is also a sensory room there if you have a child for whom a quiet space is needed. Elementary age children meet for Sunday School from 10:00-10:50 in the Real Kids area on the Bottom floor of the Discipleship Building. Youth are meeting for Sunday School from 10:00-10:50AM in the Youth Lounge. The easiest entrance for Elementary students and Youth is from the Lakewood Elementary Parking Lot. 
  4. Will the church be furnishing coffee or donuts?
    We are furnishing coffee and water in the Lobbies of the Sanctuary and Discipleship Buildings. We also provide donuts most Sundays for children and youth in Sunday School.
  5. How will I give my offering?
    Offering our gifts to God is part of our spiritual life of growing in grace and generosity. There will be an opportunity to give an offering electronically via our website or text-to-give, and plates or baskets will be passed during the worship service.
  6. Do you have Sunday School Classes?
    There are many Sunday School Classes, and we would love to help to find the right class for you! Youth are also meeting for Sunday School. Elementary age children meet for Sunday School from 10:00-10:50 in the Real Kids area on the Bottom floor of the Discipleship Building. Youth are meeting for Sunday School from 10:00-10:50AM in the Youth Lounge. The easiest entrance for Elementary students and Youth is from the Lakewood Elementary Parking Lot. 
  7. What Should We Wear? 
    You'll see folks at Lakewood in suits and jeans, sandals and heels.
