Where the Child Comes First
about our program“The child first” is a tradition at Lakewood United Methodist Mother’s Day Out. Each child is an individual and should grow and develop at his or her own pace.
Our program is designed to give your child a safe, stimulating environment in which to learn and grow. All classes have a structured day, with many learning activities taking place. These learning experiences are planned to challenge your child without exerting undue pressure to perform. We want your child to enjoy the time spent with us. |
Staffing & SafetyWe are a fully licensed facility and follow all state regulations pertaining to the welfare of children.Our program is inspected regularly by the Department of Human Services Child Care Licensing Division and the local fire department.
Fire and weather drills are practiced monthly. All staff members obtain continuing education requirements yearly, and most are trained in CPR. Our Executive Director of Weekday Ministries is Sarah Ables. You can contact her by email ([email protected]) or by text (501-831-1473). |
Hours
MDO is open on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9 am to 2 pm. We are closed on the days the North Little Rock School District is closed for holidays, winter break, and spring break.
Once registered, your days stay the same each week. We do not provide drop-in or extended care services.
SCHEDULE:Each classroom follows a schedule each day with circle time, free play, and gym/playground time. PreK 3 and PreK 4 have Chapel on Tuesdays.

Tuition & Fees
Tuition: $28 per day for all students
Enrollment Fee: $150 is due upon enrollment and is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Building Fee: $30 each semester

Spring Enrollment
Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis until classes are full. We must receive your enrollment form and a non-refundable enrollment fee of $150 for your child to be placed on a class roster.
The age of your child on August 1 will determine which class he/she will be placed in. This helps our students stay on track when it comes time for kindergarten eligibility.
Children enrolling in our nursery classroom must be at least 6 months old on August 1. For example, if your child is 4 months old on August 1 they are not eligible to enroll in MDO for the current school year.
